Finished this little one tonight
I've been watching the forum but haven't posted, so I thought I'd start with this:
This little buttonhead was from last year's PA early muzzleloader season. The hide is Liqua-Tanned and its mounted on an altered McKenzie 1/2 Lifesize button buck form.
Questions, comments?

I've been doing taxidermy for close to 13 years. I started when I was 9 years old. I passed that stupid PA Exam after two tries back in 2005. I mostly mount mammals and fish, i try to avoid anything with feathers.

finished this one tonight, an African Mountain Reedbuck:
This was my first time mounting an African Game Animal, so it was an interesting experience. The cape more or less sucks, as its got bald patches and thin hair as most African hides do. I think it came together pretty nice though. Its mounted on a Van Dyke's form and the hide was commercial tanned.
