Is there also a 3/4 mount? I was looking at half mounts online and saw more body. Is there a difference in a 1/2 mount and 3/4 mount? Or, is it more a difference in the size of the bear?

You can get a 3/4 mount or any size for that matter, I have a whole file cabinet full of catalogs.

I think the taxi got the whole hide tanned. We need to look through the book and settle on a form. There were a couple that were top of the list. They looked like 3/4. The price of the mount may have been for a 1/2, though. The price was $1500 to start, but the bear is big so it will probably be more. I think he said is was 76 inches, nose to tail and the skull was around 19.5.

Thanks. It will be posted here when it's done. Probably looking at next fall, though. Taxi is busy. That's OK. I never minded waiting for good quality. I've seen guys that get mounts turned around quick and they sometimes look like they were bought at a garage sale.
