Here is a deer I just completed yesterday. I had worked with a taxidermist for a while last year and this is the first one I did completely on my own in my own shop.

If your not in the Superstar spot light them you will be harassed .
Plenty of good info. . Just no call for the B.S. on there ..
They actualy think you need to be a world class taxi. to actualy comment on someones work ???

I have been posting on Taxidermy.net since they started (without photos.) I have not had any problems. It is a great site for info and ideas. I find a lot of off the wall items I am looking for. I have been doing this work for over 45 years so I have a thick skin.

I agree there is a to of good and new info. on the site practicaly every week .
I ejoy looking at the game head of the week . and also any info. regarding deer mounts etc .
I had commented on a newer taxidermists deer mount and was later , slammed , told I didnt know a thing abought the taxidermy field , etc..
There are a certain group of guys who are regulars on the Taxidermy.net site that realy stick together .
If one of them says a smart a$$ coment to you be prepaired to get harrased by the followers .
I have a lot of respect for any taxidermist do to all they must go through , weather its a bad cape ,pi$$ed off costumer , or just a bad day .
But to put down a possble future customer in front of who knows who and play it up like they have all the costumers they need ??
So when these guys go to competitions with there mounts , who or where do the judges come from , or what is there background as far as taxidermy ?
I,m not saying there all bad apples but that certain few ( at least on that site ) need to loose the chip on there shoulder .
I cant figure out where they have so much time to spend on the sight and still manage to get there work done ?
There are many new and old members that will tell you the same .
