    This is my west Texas Elk mount I got back a few months ago, in late 2005

    I hate to say it but we never got a weight onhim. The scale at the game locker wasnt big enough. It was a hanging scale that only went to like 400lbs........and yes Texas has ELK in the hills and mountains in west Texas. We just dont have the numbers like NM, CO, WY, etc.....
