I know Chases reputation and was not ,in any way,saying to order from that company! But,the novelty section,has some things to check out?
I,over the years,have done quite a few "Novelty" mounts,for people.The money from them spends just like the rest of it.
You seem to be insinuating that people whom do novelity taxidermy,are below you!!!!! They do junk work!!!!
Deer feet gun rack mounts,are a novelity mount,feather clocks,turkey fans and a whole lot more qualify as novelties.
Maybe i took your post wrong,if so,excuse me for this reply?

Yes, you took me wrong. I insinuated nothing, just describing the difference. If you wanna know, I do think that kind of stuff is junk, I dont want to do it either. Goofy apeman mounts, deer butts, deer butt monsters, tail monsters, etc. BUT, and this is the key, I admire those who have learned to do whatever work seems to be worth doing in their location. If customers in your area dig it, and you dont mind, make the money, like you said, it spends the same!

Theres really something to be said about how some shops are trophy-oriented, others are more museum-like, and others remind me of the old days. It used to be, a taxidermy shop did leather goods, novelties, all those extras besides and includingtrophies. Times have changed, I miss the good old days.

Mountingman, nope, wasnt trying to insult you or insinuate. Hope that clarifies for you. Ill be willing to bet your studio does just fine for you. Heres hoping it does!

I've retired,from taxidermy,5 years ago!It was one of the hardest things i ever did.
