I charge $400 here in Indiana.

the guy that I go to and the one that is teaching me to mount animals only charges 300. Then if you want it to face a certain way, an open mouth, ect, he doesn't charge extra for. He does it for a hobbie, last year he did over 100 deer. sounds to me like I need to drop out of college and just become a fulltime taxidermist. 100 deer x 300= 30,000/year. Just for working abotu 5 months out of the year. heck, when I become a game warden I won't even be making 25,000 per year. Oh me.

this guy that someone my dad knows charges like 165 for a mount, i heard where i live its pretty cheap

I dropped one off last week. Cost $375 for a shoulder mount. There are cheaper and faster guys around me but this fellow has done it for the last 26 years and does good work.

the guy that does all my taxidermy work has been doing it for over 20 years,he gets $225 for a shoulder mount, i ask him why he was so much cheaper, his response was thats alot of money in south al. i'm well pleased with his work.just got back abobcat and two foxes,heres a sample.

I charge $300 for a shoulder Mount. The average down here is $300 - $350. Their is a guy getting $400.I am to cheap!
