Default Boundary Waters Canoe/Fishing Trip

I've spent the last 10 years guiding/outfitting in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. If you're not familiar, the BWCA is a million acre wilderness mainly traveled by canoe. It has hundreds of lakes with great fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike and lake trout. I am now in youth ministry, but still have all of the stuff for a good trip. What I have to offer is a place to stay/shower before and after your trip in Ely, MN, along with a fully outfitted trip including kevlar canoes, packs, gear, food, shuttle, etc. I can help with route planning and permits as well.
What I'm interested in is whitetail opportunities for myself and my hunting buddy. We did Missouri last year, planning on Kansas this year and then Iowa the following (we're on track with preference points), but are open to any other suggestions. We do like to hold out for bigger deer, but we also don't have super high standards coming from northern MN. Let me know if this interests anyone.

whitetails hunting is tough in boundary waters. harsh winters, lack of food due to rockiness, and wolves keep populations low. a higher percentage of deer make it to maturity due to low pressure though.
