Ever hunt wild hog? We hunt public land here, but its a big area (almost 21,000 acres) and we've had a high success rate, 11 hog taken in the two month season. The season is mid November to mid January. Permit to hunt is around $30 and our house is only 12 miles from the hunting area. We have a couple stands we can put up and we can almost guarantee you'll get a shot at one.
