A few of this years prospects...

Not quite the midwest but if you might be interested we have a ranch in texas (low fence) with abundant bucks. We feed approximately 1000 lbs of protein pellets a week to improve horn growth along with mineral blocks. Would VERY much recommend a non-rut hunt due to our very high buck to doe ratio (broken tines and beams). We have had bucks 180-190" and 140" is very common. We are in West Texas in between Midland And San Angelo. VERY bowhunter friendly blinds also. Also hae javelina for the taking and any coyotes u can get a whack at.

Thought I would post an update with some pictures I took in mid July. These bucks still have 6 weeks of growth left! Enjoy . . .

Rob, sounds like a great place. I live in west central illinois with my wife and 2 teenage boys. We have around 2000 acres in cass and menard county, this is farmground and timber. I live in eastern kansas and have been bowhunting for over 20 years. Alot of the land I hunt are close to surburban areas some rural and you have a very good chance to get a 150" or bigger. I have trail cam pictures and a very big trophy room of whitetails to prove it. If this sounds interesting to you I would like to talk about it. Also I would have a small house you could stay in.
