My son and I both have lifetime licenses so we haven't had to deal with those in quite a while. We could only possibly help during the Holiday Anterless Deer Hunt. It runs from Dec. 17 - Dec. 26. We're not sure right now which days we could help. Possibly the first weekend Dec. 18-19. It appears to me that if you are 36 or over, you wouldn't have to have hunters education and if your son hunted within arms length of you he could get an apprentice designation on his license and not have to have it either. The licenses appear to be $206 for each person that hunts. You would be on your own for lodging and meals. The farm is 20 miles N.W. of Altus, Ok. which is in the S.W. corner of the state. If I were you and I was still interested, I'd call the wildlife department and make sure what I have told you is correct.
