Ever wonder why you see so few offers of hunts etc in Alaska, Well the reason is it's against the law. From the 2009 reg book, page 10 [hunters should be aware that except for a registered or master guide it is illegal for anyone to provide for compensation any supplies, equipment, or services to a big game hunter in the field.] Also [Unlicensed individuals cannot legally provide transportation service or accommodations for compensation.] In fact even a tank of fuel is compensation in this state, not that Alaskans are not interested in this sort of thing just so restricted by law.So when an offer of an Alaskan adventure or what ever is made, the person making the offer is doing all they can under the law. Thanks for reading.
