i dont do any of the above with my Jake......i do take him scouting with me if i can....we're going to go tomorrow a.m., but he's basically just a buddy.....i would duck hunt with him, but with all the gators down here, i think it's just safer for him to stay at home, i wouldnt be able to watch him taken out by a gator.......

I have Jack Russells and I pretty much only do #5
I wrote a reply to groundhog tips that kinda explains where I'm coming from.
We have 6 J.R. 3 grown 3 pups, all of em are crazy.
If its under 50 pounds and furry they will kill it if allowed.
Usually it only takes one dog to get the job done.
All but one are 15 pounds or lighter
the only big one is the dumbest. I shouldnt say that hes dumb
"HE'S SPECIAL" that one is named Sparky. I picked him and his brother Otis
up off a Amish Guy from Harlan IN. I'd say that Otis is the best Male I have.
But I would say its a tie between him and the oldest dog Patch a female.
they both have had theyre moments. Patch likes opossums and groundhogs.
While Otis prefers huge raccoons. the pups are still too young to go killing coons and such
dont want to break em of their nerve. Well if anyone replies I'll have more to talk about.
