We have a 2 ½ year old male combination GSP (mother, hunting dog) Chocolate Lab (father hunting background unknown) neutered, and shots.
He has been raised as since a pup as our family dog, crate trained, loves people, never hunted. Worked very briefly with a pheasant wing, found it quickly every time but did not instinctively point. Knows sit, stay, come, give but does become deaf when let loose outdoors. Loves the water, and he will play fetch until he can’t move anymore. This dog has a lot of energy and needs to run! Letting him loose in neighborhood to get his exercise is not an option even though he stays close to home, its’ our close proximity to a road that worries us. Unfortunately due to work schedules and kids after school activities someone running him is getting very infrequent. Hate to see an energetic dog live like this.
Free to a home that can provide an opportunity to run, crate included.
