Do you train for and use your dog to retrieve geese ?

Yes on the second and Swan. never really trained on geese as you do with the breasted out goose

ducks, geese, pheasant, grouse, doves. If I knock it down, she'll bring it back.

Yes - I have the dog retrieve all sorts of stuff.......not only game...but tools, bottles, and ya never know as when I say fetch and point they had better bring something back to me.......very helpfull with a bad ole back...

His name is Gander. He darn well better retrieve geese. His first bird in a real hunt was a goose that fell in the water and he's been doing it ever since. The wind was blowing hurricane speed in this picture, that's why he's laying down and looks unhappy.
