I'm new here. I have a 4-month-old chocolate lab I would like to get into dock dog diving. Anyone in the WV panhandle area with info on clubs, training, etc.?

I never had my Springer in any competition...not sure how he would have done. Here's a few pics of him doing what he loves best...outside of hunting for birds here in NH.

Awesome pics jimmy! I have an ESS as well, he loves dock jumping. He also jumps into our above ground pool and goes to the ladder to get out haha. As for training just get out and do it I guess.

I'm sure your Springer is like mine...Ya just can't keep them out of water. My son has a Chocolate Lab. They both dive off the dock and my Springer beats him every time. Not even close. He's big for a Springer, 58-60 pounds so I guess that's a big factor.
That being said, he's no match for a Lab when it comes to swimming. Those dogs create a wake I could go water skiing on.
