Guys, I have a 1 yr. old chocolate lab who loves to retrieve anything but animals. I seriously don't get it? Just today I was out hunting and shot a squirrel and when i told her to fetch it up she ran all the way to it and started sniffing it. She then kinda flung it around for a while and lost interest in it and came back to me. Its beyond frustrating trying to deal with her.
Can anyone help me figure out a solution to this problem?

Do you train with dead and live animals? looks like some training on force fetch is in order. You can find books on it from a number of authors or do a search.
