They make a lemon/lime spray that dogs do not like, spray it on that poo so they learn it doesn't taste good to them.. That should break after about a week or so..

try putting tabasco sauce on the poop. in elementry school we had a hamster or guinea pig or some dumb little vermin like that, that kept eating a hole in its plastic cage, we put tobasco sauce on the plastic and it stopped. that might be the cheapest and easiest way to do it.

we used to have this problem with our german shepher pups, we repeatedly told them no and scolded them when they went near another dog's fecies...it corrected the problem

my 5 mo. old beagle eats poop also. the vet said this is a "behavior". which means it can be unlearned. training and discipline should stop this behavior. pick up poop asap, say "no", etc. Tried potty mouth pills...didn't work. so far, discipline and picking up poop right away seem to be the best cure so far. supposedly some dogs will also just grow out of this behavior, but i wouldn't count on it.

My 4 month old lab loves the "crunchy treats" he finds in the cat's litter box [:'(] At least he doesn't eat his own poop

I have never in my life known a bird dog, be it a retriever, setter or pointer that didn't love cat crap.
