It's always good to make sure the breeder has given all the correct shots at the right time. By four months as I recall, your pup should have all its shots taken care of.

I had one litter and removed the declaws myself on the 2nd day. If they would of needed tails docked I would have gone to the vet by 3 days. I take them to the vet at 6 weeks for the first shots, dewormer, and a complete health check. The vet issues a starter kit forall the pups and what the vet recomends as a follow up. At12 weeks for the second shots should be given as well as what Mite said by 4 months all shots including a rabbies booster should have been given.

I beleive strongly in health care. I perform all the shots, deworming, removing dewclaws, and docking tails.
I do not like to take a healthy dog to the vet office. It gives an opportunity for the dog to come in contact with a virus or disease.
Most of the animals at the vet are sick.
Once a year i have to take all my dogs and horses to the vet for
Rabbies vac. and get the horses checked for Coggins
I load all the animals in the horse trailer and do it outside in the back of the vet office
it costs $5 per dog and $35 per horse they mail me the paper work
