RE: Female Dog Name
My lil girl puppy is named Bella Angelo Del Cielo....we call her Bella. I thought it would be funny to see the judges pronounce her name when I ran her at field trials! Only the women judges can say it right!

I have a friend who named the family pooch... D O G and pronounced it D-Oh-Gee. The Vet got a kick out of it and when they had to put the dogs name on the pet license the county said DOG wasn't acceptable so they spelled it D-Oh-Gee and it went through. I think its a cool name and the dog really fitsher name.

RE: Female Dog Name
I know a guy that farms cattle. He has two working dogs. Both are heelers, blue female, red male. The female works and herds the cattle, she’s aggressive enough, but not overly. Her name is Baby Girl. The male, is quite a show. Loves his master and is very sweet natured. But, when there is a new bull on the farm, that doesn’t realize that he is supposed to respect Baby Girl, the male is sent in. It is an ugly sight, period. I have one of these dogs, and probably would have thought about it a little longer had I known how aggressive they can be. His job was to break the will of the bull, and that is what he did. He bits his legs (hence heeler) which I was ready for, but then he started hanging off its ears, biting his neck and just an all out ugly display of aggression. By the time it was over, the bull was sitting on the ground with no more energy, bleeding and making some pretty sissyfide sounds. The dogs face was stained with blood. His name – Sweetie-Pie! Cool name I thought. My red heelers name is simply “Buddy”, but he is a fine companion.
