Thanks for the back up guys, I think Doc just likes to get under everyones skin. He sounds like a grumpy old man everytime he replies to a post. Anyways I think I am going to crop their tails, I think it will look alot better.

If telling it like it is (the TRUTH) gets under someones skin -- so be it and too bad for them.

All B.S. aside, my GSP, Kimber is about 1 week away from when she is supposed to have pups and I still don't see very many signs that tells meshe is pregnant. So I don't know but it is very doubtful that she will have pups. Oh well.

If she has shown some signs but is not showing other signs, I would suggest getting her ultrasounded or x-rayed. That way you know for sure and can get a count. And you also know to bring her into the vet if she goes too far past her due date. For all anyone knows, she may just have one or two. Have you felt any movement? You should be able to feel movement once in a while, but the pups will quiet down a bit as you get a day or two away from welping.

Let me tell what happened last year to one of our girls we bred. Brought her in for an ultrasound 1/2 way through pregnancy and saw 2 pups. Took her into the vet about 1-1/2 weeks before due date for an x-ray, still saw two but vet commented they looked a little small. Due date came and went and about 5 days after her due date, we brought her in for another ultrasound. No heartbeats. Did a c-section and both pups were dead and appeared to have been dead for at least a week. Thank God we got mom in when we did or the dead pups could have killed the mom. So after stud fee, vet costs, c-section, etc., no pups. No one ever said breeding was easy, cheap or a sure thing.
