Here's my first lab...she's a chocolate...i've been trainning her since she was 15 weeks....she's been doing water retrieves and has been on her first hunt...we do OB trainning every night... and has been broken to the gun....she has alotta spirit and i think she'll be my best dog.....her name is Maggie....

My "Flying Lil" and "Charlie".....both are two of my Field-Bred Springers. I have 2 pups available from these two if anyone is interested. 3 weeks old today. They'll be ready to go about October 17th. Great dogs....

This was her a few weeks ago. She is almost 12 now and still acts a lot younger than she is.

I don't have time to post a pic but I've got an English Setter named Slim. He's white with orange spots and an orange ear. He came from a shelter and I thought that he wouldn't hunt but this year he's pointed about a hundred birds. He wouldn't hunt with anyone but me but this year he'll hunt with anyone. Maybe I'll get a pic on here later.

Looks more lab then anything Jim. Good looking puppy though. I like labs, black ones especially but my friend likes choc ones. I was going to look into some of the local or even kennels around here (we have few) to shop for some for her although i'm not going to be able to get it for her.

hey redhawk.. the funny thing is... the vet says that he looks more like a pointer than anything... i can see both things in him.. hopefully when he starts hunting he will be a good pointer and retriever.. i guess we will have to wait and see

Yeah i guess in person and up close one might say it looks like more or the other. Just from that picture it looks more lab to me anyway (can see pointer features as well)I agree with you though, only way to see what he is better at will be told in time

This is my full bred 10 week old springer spaniel! Can't wait to get her out hunting...
