Rob, thats Trapper. He's a little power house, 32 pounds of solid muscle! When he was 2 the firsttrack of the seasonwas a hundred pound doe. He was so excited he tugged and pulled on thatdoe so hard he drug her 10 feet.
Axel's pictures got me looking at Trapper's when he was a pup. Here's when he was 10 weeks old.

After a 200 yard practice track at 12 weeks.

Heck we fell in love with this little guy so quick my Son went back and picked up one of his littler mates Rosco.

Alex is one great looking pup and by the looks of him he is going to have an awesome coat! I sure hope they get the regs changed in PA, you'll find yourself wanting to climb down from the stand hoping you have a tracking call!

Thought you might enjoy seeing Trapper run a practice track on a buck I shot last season. It had been almost a week since he ran a trail and was a little excited but he slowed down a little once he got going.

Cotton, wow those puppy pics look familiar don't they, not to mention similiar. And 32lbs..that's a large on isn't it? The mom and dad to Axel don't look like they weigh much more than 20 lbs.
The video was awesome and I especially loved the ending. I can't wait for Axel's first find....thank you so much for sharing that. I look forward to showing the wife tonight.
Think about the UBT as well.

Yep, both Trapper and Rosco are over 30# but Rosco is a little pudgy. Average for a standard male is 25# and female 19#, my two are pushing the upperend limit.
That's what I thought, not only did the pictures of Axel bring back some memories but your excitement as well.
Sorry if this is boring but I'm still like a new Dad showing off pictures of his kid.
The boys never tracked turkey so I decided to try them out on one I shot a couple ofseasons ago. Neither were quite sure what to do with the bird. Heck Rosco even tried to keep going thinking"This can't be right?" Trapper is a big ham in front of the camera, when the track turned up a trail he runs back out to make sure my wife was following.

These dogs can be clowns and they certainly enjoy their fun!
