What kind of coonhound would you prefer?

My pick is definitely a WALKER..

I take it there aren't many coon hunters on here or maybe it is just hands down that Walkers are most prefered!

yea there are none on here. im not one yet but im trying to go and will be one. My grandfather was the biggest coon hunteri know. Heck he woould go coon hunting come home and go to work. He said hehas never hunted with a good walker. but my uncle had some good ones.Me i fancy black and tans.

I like one with manners that doesn't trash and will tree a coon. Right now I have a Black and Tan that I really like. If I were going to go competition hunting it would be a Walker hands down. For pleasure hunting, which is all I do, I prefer a B&T or a Bluetick.

if you have magazines like full cry youll see that curs are very popular

i don't coon hunt but do run hounds on bear and boar and perfer plotts.

Black and Tans work just fine for anytype of coonhunting . Competition or Pleasure they work just fine for me. Why are they not on the poll anyway.
