Question for Alabama HUnters

I've been researching Alabama for possible hunting next year. I'm looking at Covington WMA . I don't understand what days are Quality Deer and What days are any deer. They have a chart with all 70 days on it. Some of the days have Quality Deer wrote on them, Does that mean the other days that are blank would be buck or doe??
Thanks for your help,
Chuck

I havn't heard of those rules, but will try to find out. If you are wanting to hit the rut, figure the last couple of weeks of January.

I live in Alabama and have never heard of quality days but I don't hunt WMA's, only private land. I will , or you can log on to the Alabama Dept. of Conservation website and try to find out.

I just went to the website and the only thing I see different from other areas of the state is that at Covington bucks must have 3 points on one side to be legal.

Rebel,
I've looked at the stats . That state has a very high yield. License isn't bad either.

Again, not sure about the WMA, but in south Bama you can take a doe and a buck or two does each day on private lands.
