Default fall bear hunt

I am looking for a fall bear hunt in the south any suggestions?I currently live in south carolina and would like to hunt near my home state. thanks for any info.

wnc near asheville has some good bear hunting on public land check with the nc game commision to get maps the area near black mountian of the pisgah game lands i have had a lot of luck if you e-mail i will give you directions to the area i dont know how much of a drive it will be for you good luck

Check out some hunting magazines. In the back of the magazines there are ranches and whatnot. Trylocating some public land or find a landowner with bear problems.

Have you tried to join the NCBHA Norht Carolina Bear hunters Asso.Try it out
NCBHA.COM It covers North and south carolina.

If you can't find something closer to home, try North Georgia, we have a good population of Bears and some of them are pretty good size.
There have been more than a few taken the past several years between 540 and 600 pounds. Just remember to hunt uphill from the truck
