Choctaw Cty AL Buck

i talked to someone today that told me this is a real pic. they saw the deer after it was killed

this was sent to me via e-mail. i don't know if it is true are not but here it is.

This deer was killed in Choctaw Cty, Al south of
Hwy 84 about 15 west of
Silas. It scored over 200 and has over 26 inside
spread. It is a typical
14
point very rare and if it scores over 200, it may
be a new state record
for
typical.

Dont you poeple believe in field dressing your game. Whew i could not imagine leaving the guts in a deer in the heat like that.

when you skin your deer as soon as we do there is no need in field dressing them all you are doing is leaving the guts in the woods to rot and smell.

They walk around everyday with their guts in and it's probably a 100 degrees inside their body. What's another hour or two going to hurt?

Why gut them out at home when you can do ot in the woods? What would that hurt? I believe in cleaning my game asap ive seen meat get tainted rather quick like in MN much less AL think about it.

I agree. I field dress all my game/fish ASAP. I think its much better for the meat.

Nice looking buck.

So what about those fingers?

The only problem I have with gutting deer on scene ( and I would appreciate ya'lls comments and/or suggestions, good and bad) is because we have a HEAVY coyote problem & everyone I've talked to says if you gut your deer on your property esp. close to where you hunt that it will only attract and keep more yotes on your property so we take the remains off somewhere else. What do you guys think?
