Need to hear from Va. folks!!!!
Well smokpole and I are making plans to do some dove hunting if we don't hear some more interest in the gathering on the 28th!

There's plenty of room in this dove field if anyone's interested in doing that instead of a get together on the river. But, it's a pay to hunt place. $10 and all the dove you can shoot at and miss.

smokpole maybe this will turn into a dove shoot instead! I hope I don't embarass myself to badly, it has been 25 years since I did any wing shooting, I was pretty good then, but my eyes are going fast and I have never shot a shotgun with glasses on. Oh well it won't be the first time I have embarassed myself, but it will be the first tme hunting.

No problem Taz. Dove hunting has got to be the most humbling hunting sport there is. I always used to think I was a crack shot with my shotgun. That's until I go dove huntin anyway. That alway's brings me back down to earth.
This might be a good oppurtunity for you to bring along one or both your daughters, they don't have to hunt but they can help dad fetch birds. I would suggest they wear an orange hat and I strongly recommend they wear some type of glasses, even if their sun-glasses. You tend to get a pellet shower now and then.

Pellet showers I will take over golden ones!! LOL Yea you know I might just bring the little ladies if they want.

Sorry, been away for a few days.
