I live in Northern VA now, but I lived in OK for 30yrs. I grew up in Miami and went to college in Weatherford. I spent many an afternoon shootin doves and teal along the river in Hydro.

My father was a former game warden and my uncle is still the game warden up on Ottawa Cty. I've harvested a lot of deer back in OK, but the deer population is nothing like it is here in VA. There's more deer then there will ever be enough hunters to keep the population in check.

I LIVE IN BRISTOW OKLA, ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF TULSA. HAS ANYONE ELSE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE GETTING DRAWN OUT ON A HUNT, I HAVE PUT IN THE LAST 5 YEARS ON A VARIETY OF DEER HUNTS AND HAVE YET TO EVER DRAW OUT. I GO SHOOTING EVERY WEEKENDEND AND AM COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS UNTIL OU FOOTBALL STARTS AND THEN DEER SEASON. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU AND HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU OUT THIS FALL. BILLY

I think OU is ranked #1 in several poles. Hopefully they can stay #1 all year.
