Can anyone tell me how the rut is going?? Saw several small bucks trying to chase does the first few days of muzzleloader then it warmed up and everything seemed to just stop. Just wandering if everyone else is having the same problems??

Farmcntry do you think the weather caused all the rutting activity to happen at night or do you think it shut it down for a while. I've noticed alot of deer lying dead on the road this morning which is usually a good sign some rutting is going on. What do you think???

[&:] Seems the full moon and warm weather have em doing their moving at night. Bucks are in full rut here in Central NC!! They are just all but nocturnal because of the moon! [&:]
Hopefully after this front passes and we cool back down, the next few days should be interesting!!!

This week seems much better, but the activity is late evening and during the night. Hope they are at it for at least one more week.
This weather I truly beleive pushed the rut back some, and now with a full moon, they did their thing at night.
That, and that is how my luck goes!
