Froman- my brothers wife's family lives up around Calico Rock not mine. Their last name is Smith. Doubt that'll help since it's such a common name. I'll be up there starting Nov 9th.

Does anyone here bear hunt White Rock WMA or Ozark National Forest?
I would like to find someone that nows these areas. Ive been looking at some maps of these areas and tring to do my homework but I dont like to hunt in a new location by myself, unless I know and understand the area. Any and all replies will welcome and helpful.
Thanks,
AR_HUNTER

My dad killed a bear up at Hurrican Creek Wilderness Area a few years ago and a buddy of mine from school killed one up just north of Dover too. There's bears up there, but I figure it's mostly just luck if you find em since baiting is illegal.

My mind belongs to my work...
My heart belongs to my family...

But my soul...belongs to the woods.
