Just another sign of ignorance on their part. they didn't pay attention in history class. The war wasn't fought over slavery, it was fought predominantly over TAXES and tariffs. No one up north gave a hoot about slavery until the war was almost over. Remember... heritage not hate.

I'm going to visit SC several times this year and spend money. naacp...what a joke....everytime those idiots open their mouths noting but garbage comes out. I really hope SC does'nt bow down to these idiots.

The good people of South Carolina have spoken through their representitives in Columbia. The people have decided that the flag be taken from the capital dome( this was the NAACP's first demand and apparently not enough) and placed on the grounds near a Confederate memorial.
States are supposed to be soveriegn members of our union. I think it is time for the NAACP and for that matter the rest of the nation to mind their own darn business.

I have never been a Confederate Flag waver but I am becoming one.

Anybody want to join the National Association For The Advancement Of White People? Or send money to the United White Student College Fund? Or establish the White Entertainment Network? I bet if you tried to organize either of these somebody would try to haul you in court..........

Timbercruiser, there is, or at least was, an NAAWP but they were branded as being racist so I am not sure if they are still around.

well its still in the MIssissippi flag, we needed black votes to keep it , think them fellers understand ? the people that fought back then were all AMERICANS and it was about taxes ,not slaves .
