    Are there good places to fly fish in AL? I understnad fly fishing is the technique used for trout, right? If so, I assume you can't fly fish in AL as there are no trout. Can you fly fish for other species???

    I'm from Mississippi, and I fly fish all the time. I fish for bass, bream, and even catfish.

    A good tip that I've always been told is, if you are going to fly fish, fish when the willow flies are swarming.
