Depends. We usually catch them with dogs and feed them out. I use a 22 Mag handgun and shoot them in the brain. If I am not using dogs I usually carry a 45-70 Govt or a 30-30 Win. If they just happen to walk under the deer stand then there is no telling what I will have. Anything from a bow to a smoke pole.

was using .260 and .270 for longer shots but been having fun lately with a lever action .357 iron sights. Sneek right up on em and shoot em right in the eye when they finally see me. They look alot bigger when your layin in the grass and 15 yards and one spots you and gives a few good snorts.

Me and my buddies use blackmouth curr's, then turn the pits out to catch once they bay, then knife them. A lot of fun and adrenaline pupping excitement

If I find a place in Va it would be great, I would use a bow first otherwise the .270 is coming out.

Was using .260 or .270 but found many times I was stalking the pigs around my place to under 20 yards, so I have started using a little browning brush gun, lever action, Iron sights in .357. Gets your heart pounding when your layin in the grass looking nose to nose with a nice boar and he gives you a snort and starts heading your way.
