bowhunter09--im really exicted about the buxkingham property. its 375 acres and it only cost me $75 to join. a buddy of mine got me into this place. its around 5 miles from scottsville. he took an 8 and 10 pt there last year. now i just have to find the time.

as for my fairfax county property-a buddy called me who watches the deer daily form his backyard. he informed me he saw the bucks in velvet on wed and on thurs--they were hard horned. he has some great video footage from last fall. i saw a nice 130" 8 pt and 140" 10 pt that was 15 yards from his back door. both these deer were filmed in late october. he has not seen those 2 yet. he says they just appear during the rut. he told me 1 of the deer he is watching is a 18" 4 pt that needs to be removed from the herd. i have to wait until oct 2 to shoot bucks. i have to convince myself to stay out of there for the early season doe hunt. that will be hard. i cant wait for the season to open
