Nokesville, not a bad deal at all. I hunt a few farms there and that area is loaded w/ geese. You get 'em before they make it to the heavier hunted parts of Fauquier. Not to mention a buddy of mine shot an 11 point record book buck there last year.

I think Brad's been having some computer problems recently. That and he's been keepin' busy working. We took two of the beagles out last week and shot 1 rabbit. I finally dragged him out!

Lmao I can remember butches frustration throughout last season, to even include the various boards he's traveled indicating such. Taz, it's been a while conversing.

I'm open to to about anything, I traveled as far as Sc to hunt last season, and have hunted in charles city va. in a club for years. I love the sport if I can travel to NC, DE, etc. to fish why canit I for a good hunt. SO ya best count me in..lol

Club rules: are much needed, We call them By-Laws
Insurance: That most likely should validate to any land owner the clubs dedication not only of safety but for their property as well.

VaSavage I haven't seen you around in a while, I hope the world is treating you well.

VaSavage and others, I stopped by engs work yesterday and he is coming by my place Wednesday for dinner and to go over the by-laws/rules for the club, he figures right now we have about 20-25 folks interested and he has a couple of good leads on some properties to lease and I have one possibility. We will go over the by-laws/rules and I would imagine Eng will be senind them out for comments soon.

Hopefully once we get the by-laws/rules agreed upon by all that are interested we, Eng & I will start trying to get some places to lease at least checked out.

Yes it's been quite a while, I've layed the bow to rest along with the shotgun and picked up my uglysticks. Oh of course I had to lubricate the Okuma Reels for my trip this weekend to the outter banks.

The grouper run big around this time, so I will not be left out of my creel'd share...lol I went out Nov1-2 and had a great time with ten other fisherman who booked a trip through my little fishing club.

Well Eng came by my place last night, great guy with his head screwed on right. He worked on a water leak at my meter (we think it is fixed), had backstrap for dinner, it was overcooked, I told one of the girls to turn the oven off because we hadn't finished working on the leak yet, well 1/2 hour later we go in and guess what? The oven was still on!!!! Eng is a true gentleman and said it was great, I know better, it wasn't to bad, actually there were no left overs so I guess it wasn't that bad!

Anyhow we went over the by-laws/rules and he should be sending out the rough draft fairly soon.

Dang Butch, I should have thought to invite you down here to hunt when Taz ,And Capt.Brad came down.You all could have gotten skunked together.NYUK,NYUK,NYUK.Seriously though I really could not set up the spots for them myself with my hand the way it is so they actually were sucking hind tit from the get go .IF it would have been rifle season Old taz would have had to go around the scale houses on the way back up to Fredrickburg.........LOL Maybe next year we will do it again

I do some surf fishing past Nags Head at Cape Hatteras. Only made it once last year though. It helps to know a few friends and brothers friends who are beach bums for the summer and rent houses in Nags Head :)

OK everyone... I believe I finally have this rough draft ready for you all to rip apart lol.... Taz made me re-do it about 20 times before we sent it out lol just kidding..Taz has actually been a huge help in this thus far!!

I know he does not believe me about his cooking... but the tenderlion was excellent!!!!!!!!! So was the cold beer!!!!! I do have to say he and his family showed me nothing but a wonderful evening... very good people... but then again anyone who feeds me venison and beer is good in my book lol.

Well I think I have some truth telling due here!!!!

When Capt Brad and I went hunting down at swamp dogs, swamp dog, his wife, a friend of swamps and myself went to a bar right down the road form swamp and it was "DYKE" night, Brad was a bit jealous because when we got back he found out that I had a few of the Dykes that were ready to go straight if I would participate!!! Brad could have come along and got a Dyke lap dance if he wanted! I love being a tease and this dykes were eating it up, but I am married and faithful so all of it was in play.

Butch and Brad you know you all are welcome to join. Brad I am sure that Swamp can get one of those bull dykes to come up with him if he comes for your entertainment!;)

VaSavage I used to work in the retail industry, that was a wild guess I will admit, but most people would dump their drawers if they knew the real mark up on the majority of the products they buy. Surprisingly the industry with the lowest mark up percentage is the grocery industry, with the exception of meat and produce the average mark up is about 1%! BTW I would have no problem with getting a free one, heck if that is the price I might buy a few more for my twins who will start hunting this year.

All sounds good except distance.Depending on how far away from Henry county,I may be interested.An idea also you may consider-a 3D range built is alot of fun,practice and money brought in from shoots could help defer costs of lease or even with other things,like if you want a food plot or something.

ncemt I am not sure where Henry county is, my understanding is that right now the properties we are looking to lease are in Spotsyvania, King George, and Stafford counties. Eng is out of pocket right now I think, he is changing jobs so I am not sure if those are the only counties we are looking at right now.

In regards to the 3D range that sounds like a great idea, but I will be honest and say that I doubt it would happen the first year the club is in place, but it would be a great idea in the future.

All is well folks, Eng called me at home last night to let me know he is still among the living. He started a new job and has been working 7 days a week 12-14 hours a day so he hasn't really felt like signing on when he gets home from work. He said he wanted to try and go out this weekend and check out some lease possibilities. He asked me to let you all know that the club is still in the works, he has not dropped the ball.
