Three shots, one score. First score in over 3 years. And it was kind of a fluke. Deer just aren't supposed to be out in 40 mph gales, but sometimes diligence pays off.

Back out for the last couple of days over the new year vacation. It has come down to the wire!

I saw a couple deer saturday evening late walking the edge of the swamp, I think with the warmer days they are looking for water in the evenings

2 days out + 1 miss=SKUNK!

1 7 point, but have been given orders by the wife to kill as many does as possible before the season ends, the big push starts tomorrow.

Finished out the season yesterday with what would have been a nice 8 pt except he had broken of his right side at the base some time ago it appears. He also had a broken brow tine and g3 on what remained of his left side. Hopefully next year i will meet up with the big boy that inflicted this damage on him.... Final tally for me is 1 3pt with a bow, 1 spike and one former 8pt with a shotgun.

I am sad to say that I was skunked this year, first time in 17 years that I have not killed a buck. I am proud that I past on some decent bucks and as the years go by we are doing well as a club to past on the smaller deer and it is paying off very well. We killed some nice bucks this year.

Increased my total by 6 during the lase two weeks of the season. All does. Hunters for the hungry are well supplied this year.

Skunked out this year. Missed out on early ML season & didn't get out as much as I'd like to have.
Even did poorly on Dove this year.
