I live in eastern N.C. the last few yrs we have been seeing tons of hogs here. Lots of big boar and sows. Are any of the rest of you seeing any hogs in your areas. Last wk saw 31 in one field then 2 days later killed 2 in a different locations. Let me know if you guys are getting the dang things if you are I feel sorry for you.

Ifferd drop me an email maybe we can hook up on a hunt. I can show you how to consistantly get bacon. Also you may want to consider getting 2 catahoula's excellent hog dogs. The ones here came from Alabama (bear hunters)! There is no season for our hogs we can shoot em yr around. They are not considered wild boar by the wildlife commision. [email protected]

set up a corn feeder and get ready for some sasuage and BBQ ribs.
once you get them, you always got them.

they are a lot of fun to hunt, spot and stalk, or tree stand like deer.take one hog and one deer, makes for a different type hunting.great for bow season.

set up sonme traps and pick the ones you want, cut the rest and release for a better hog later.

Hogs seem to be pushing out the deer in SC. We shoot everyone we see and they are still present in big numbers. Fun to shoot though, makes you more confident with a deer when you have been busting hogs in the head all season.

I'm not sure that's such a bad problem to have. I love pork. Especially if you can hunt them year round. I've always wanted to go on a boar hunt, and a wild hog hunt sounds like a blast. I gotta get in on some of that action.
