Greg the rut is running hot in my part of the woods. My neighbor took his daughter yesterday am and had a spike (2pt) a fork horn (4pt) a 6 pt chase a doe around them for 45 minutes. He told his daughter to shoot the 6 pt and she replied if we wait a little longer there will be an 8 pt come join in the chase and I will shoot him. My friend started laughing and told her thats not the way it happens.

Mod, I got lucky last Friday morning to get a 125# 8 pt. Next morning my son got a 120# 8 pt from my stand. The horns were identical except sons was a little smaller around. Looks like a year younger buck from the same gene pool. We're in Woodward Co. Loads of does and the bucks looked like 22 year olds in a titty bar chasing around looking foolish. We'll try to finish the season with does this weekend.
That's a good looking head you've got. Way to go. Griz

What a lucky chick. Where was it shot at? Any idea what it might score. Looks like 130 or better. Taxidermist on mine says green score will probably be 170-190. Anybody heard of anybody else shooting a big buck in OK?
