TN new hunter. Where to go!
Mainly wanting to hog hunt, but open to other game. Never been hunting except off a friends porch....Anyone want to help out a newbie? Im in Pegram (just west of Nashville).

You would be better off to do some scouting and making personal contacts with people you know that hunt than asking other people on the internet to tell you good places to hunt. If you want to be a hunter, the first thing you should learn is you don't hunt on the internet, you hunt with miles on your vehicle and miles on your boots prior to a season. I suggest you join a sportsman's club and meet others who hunt and perhaps learn from them but don't start by asking everyone you meet where to go.

Check with your state fish and game department t find out where you can fin your quarry and places you can access.
I disagree a bit with Oldtimr. His suggestions are good, but your first step can be research and reading. It may be necessary to do it that way.
