i killed one doe with a bow and lost a nice 4 point buck could not find him,that sucked.then i shot a nice 8 point and could not find him blood stoped searched for hours nothing. i have had little luck..what have y' all done lets hear it.

I' ve got two does with the bow and am anxiously awaiting gun season. I hope all you rebels score big with the racks and be safe.

i' ve got a doe with a bow and lost a nice 8pt with a bow and got a good 8pt with muzzleloader. whats going on with the rut here i hadn' t seen alot of action.

it looks like the rut will be throwed into late november into december.no ruting activity in my woods.rifle is this weekend,it is going to be 72 degrees.warm.

Well weekend 1 down and pretty ugly. Some shooting around me, but not sure they got anything to brag about. Hopefully the holiday weekend will be better. Happy Thanksgiving!!

gdawg, welcome aboard. Our opening of gun season was terrible. We heard very few shots and saw even fewer deer. We had so many trespassers that I couldn' t find a place to hunt in between running off the idiots. I' m resting a few weeks and then going back after the deer when the fair weather hunters go back in their dens.
