Ive been seeing them dead in the back of my truck. 8 so far have made the trip to the barn. They came from Fauquier and Caroline counties. I' ve seen more der this year than last. It has been a great year and there is still 5 weeks left.

That is incredible! [:-] Congrats on all the deer. I wish I had your string of luck. I have only seen one buck in Cumberland Forest that I bumped one time. Other than that, my whole season is one big fat goose egg! :(

so far, ive killed 3 bucks-all 8 pointers and 10 does. im on my 6th and 7th set of bonus tags. i cant shoot any more bucks. last week i passed up shots of at least 40 deer. i didnt even hunt this thanksgiving b/c im burnt out. oh well

Stuff like this just makes me sick! Worse yet, this just adds to my level of frustration and makes me green with envy.

VIRGINIA HUNTERS: PLEASE tell me where the $*@#&!& deer are! [:@][>:] I mean, do you realize how tempted I am to park my truck along Route 6 in eastern Goochland County near that golf country club and shoot one of the does that always come out to feed in the late afternoon? I know the whole place is POSTED up the wazoo, but I just might take my chances!! [:@][>:]

You have to understand my increased level of frustration. Part of me actually wants to just finish up this season and then be done with it all. [:o]:(

most of my hunting is done in loudoun,fauquier and fluvanna counties. ive also hunted prince william and buckingham cty. the other day i passed on at least 40 deer, including 6 racked bucks before killing an 8 pt right before dark. one small tract i have(25 acres), ive killed 7 and told the landowner about it. his reply was " i wish you would kill 7 more!" as you can tell he hates all the deer. my freezer is full now-mostly backstraps:D i just didnt feel like going out thanksgiving weekend with all the rain and high winds just to drop 2 more does.

I' m with you Butch, however I did harvest a few does thus far. Now as for O2Be, it' s not nice shooting up all them deer without the help of friends...lmao just kidding, well no I' m not!!..lol

Oh and tell that land owner you have a board full of hunters seeking to take down 7 of them any day..lol

Anyway great season your having and keep them backstraps hanging..lol

an update--1 of my hunting buddies went out yesterday before the snow/cold front moved in. from 4:15 to dark he and his wife saw around 75 deer. he dropped (2) 8 points and she got an 8 and a 4 pt. he had to drag 600lbs of deer to his truck-no lie. thank god for the versacart that we have. i cant get out till saturday[:@]. calling for high winds with a snowstorm. so far this place has yielded (7) 8 pointers this season.

Update! Another took the trip to the barn this weekend. A very healhy 13 inch wide 4 pointer. He weighed 85 lbs and came out of Caroline. Al together on Saturday our group killed 8 deer. One 8 pointer , One 7 Pointer , one 4 pointer and 5 does. Not a bad day all in all.
