I live in Oklahoma now, but I'm not from here. I've always wanted to hunt, but I've never had a friend who was into it (or a family member I was close enough to) to show me the ropes. Mostly interested in fowl. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. If you list a general location someone might be able to help you out a little more.


If you're new to an area and new to hunting I would try to get involved with a local hunting club. Doing this should allow you to meet some people who can teach you and show you the ropes. I'd just google search for hunting clubs in your area.
