1. anybody read the regs? can' t figure out the doe day or limit for the WMA' s w of the blueridge,
2. the mast arond here looks dismal-(lodoun co) what does it look like elsewhere?

Havn' t seen this years regs for Virginia yet but will check em out when I get back from Colorado. Can' t help ya much from memory as most of my Virginia huntin is in the Tidewater area. Go there every December for a week or two to visit my daughters and deer hunt.
Havn' t talked to any of my huntin pals in Virginia yet either so I do not know how the mast is there. Here in NC Arkansas it is massive. Also, today we saw two bucks sparrin and chasin a doe and another small buck chasin another doe. A little early for that to be happin here.

Dang, you can find a place to hunt in Loudoun!? I am jealous! I have seen a few VERY nice bucks in the sod fields out by Ashburn (where I live). If a guy could get permission out there, he could get some great hunting in. Good luck!

Either sex on Nov 22 and the last huntign day on the Clinch mountani WMA and Hidden Valley WMA.

Niov 15-29
Eihter sex on Nov 22 and the last hunting day on NF and Department owned land inn Botetourt, Montgomery and Roanoke.

The early muzzle season west of the blue ridge is from 8 - 14 November. the regular gun season is 15 - 19 November. I had a question in reference to the doe days for both seasons in rockingham county so i sent them an email, got the reply back the following day. it said " during the early muzzle loading season, Nov 8 - 14, the either sex hunting day is Nov 10 on both private and public lands in Rockingham County. During the general firearms deer season, Nov 15 - 29, the either sex hunting days are Nov 22 and 29 on public land, and Nov 22 and Nov 24 through 29 on private land in Rockingham country" you might want to send an email a Mr Gary Spiers at [email protected] hope this helps you a little.

Thanks guys. was looking at highland wma for opening day early muzzleloader, but that would put it on the following tuesday. kinda dumb, but they make the rules. Lived in loudoun for almost fifteen years. managed to hunt here twice-not a quality experience. strictly bow now-dang near every patch of ground left is runged in by houses. ans yes, i drive by that same patch in ashburn off rt 7 too. torture watchin them critters prance spar and feed on the open, anin' t it!
