Update on the PD refuge hunt.Didn' t see any deer there in 2 days.Didn' t hunt there on Sat because the muzzleloader season opened on club land then.I got lucky the first day and took a nice 8-pointer with 17 in spread and doe with my encore.Saw one larger buck chasing a doe on thursday but couldn' t get a shot.
Shot a smaller buck chasing a doe the second day of reg gun season, still looking for the big one I seen in muzzleloader season.

I have seen lots of deer in chowan co. so far this season. I have killed two 8's and a six. The club i'm in has killed two nines, and 13 so far. In the neighboring county they killed a 15 pointer. We are having one of the best years i've seen in along time. Once we got sniping controlled we have seen a lot of bucks. I have been sittin on one since the the week before thanksgiving. I've seen him the last four nights heading back to the truck. I hope he steps out before the end of the season.

Well it's not like your real name is a secret. It's part of your profile, just click the man icon above your name. That is until you changed it. But I will refrain from using yours in the future.
