Default TICKS IN VA. HOLY lyme Disease/////

I hunted Cavalier last SAT. being nearly empty. All except the ticks. What gives this year? My truck was loaded down w/ them too...

I stay out of the woods during the warm months. They are the worst if there are short pine trees around. I itch just thinking about them.

Spray all your clothing and boots with Permethrine. Do Not spray it on your skin!! It will keep the ticks off. I am in the woods everyday and the only ticks I get are on my hands or arms. Any that get on my cloths, run in circles and jump off or die.

Permethrin works. But, this is the worst year in memory for ticks. I suspect that the exceptionally wet summer has something to do with it.

You can get it at various places online, the cheapest I've found is Amazon. Look for Sawyers Permethrine. The best deal comes in a 24oz spray bottle for $15.69, whereas at Walmart you get a 12 oz bottle for $9.88.

Buy it in bulk at Tractor Supply and mix it up yourself. Much cheaper.
