Good question. The acorns arent near as plentiful as they were last year, but theres still some. Ive been seeing them on alfalfa quite a bit, and the occasional acorn grove. Im going to hunt the trees opening day, but later move closer to field edges

I am located out west of El Reno and have been seeing deer hitting the alfalfa real hard. The wheat is starting to come up and grow so look for them to hit the wheat fields by first frost. Like always, they are drilling the corn, can never go wrong there. They will feed on corn all year around in my area.

I' m located a little northeast of you guys around the Claremore area and we have a significant amount of persimmon' s so if you have persimmon groves around it' s always a safe bet that you can catch the deer there at dusk and dawn.
