Have been pretty busy with life the past 2 weeks. Havent hunted Quanitico yet this year, however did do some presseason scouting.
Looking forward to getting out there and hitting it hard next week thru the rut.

Thanks. I can't give away my areas this early in the season. Seems that the bucks are still in bachelor groups but that should be changing in the next couple weeks.
GCS estimated this buck at 2.5. Not the optimal mature buck but it was the first 10pt I've had in bow range and is a trophy in my book. However, I'll definitely be more selective the rest of the season.
Good luck out there.

Silent - that should be a trophy in any Virginia bowhunter's book. Congrats.
I hunt private land about 40-45 miles SW of Quántico. Saw a bunch Saturday - all about 10 yards beyond my bow range. Only say one big but wary doe on Monday, she didn'r get closer than about 50 yrs. Back at it tomorrow.
Good luck!
