If u bow hunt try weddinton it's public and holds some good deer if u aren't scared too get off the road a ways there is also Hobbs state park by beaver lake.

McIlroy-Madison Co. WMA is permit only for gun and ML, but worth the trip if you draw. No permit required to bowhunt it, and lots of deer and not many hunters. White Rock is a longer drive, but a bunch of public land, so not hard to get away from people.
