JD,
Is that the same roost that Bama, with a first year coach, and 0 time to build a team together, almost ousted you out of. Na, just giving you a little. It isn' t your fault that OU doesn' t schedule anybody tough before the second weekend in october. Horns are going to git-r-done this year.

You guys are funny. The Hogs are for real this year. The Huskers are a surprise. And the Sooners started the season #1, they' re still #1, and I think they can finish #1 again. 8 National Championships. Sounds Good.
Poke' s are doing better than expected, but no way will they beat Stoops and the boys a third time. Look for them to get trounced!!

Now Mod70, don' t take it so hard. Just because the only talent on the Cowboy' s squad is Tatem Bell and Rashaun (or is it Lashawn, or ....) Woods. They' re gonna get spanked. On the other hand, OU uses alot more recievers, and even has three good running backs. I predict your defense is gonna get awfully tired being on the field, and that' s when we' ll run up the score.
I do like them purty orange uniforms though!!!
Texas, I can hear the chanting now. " Fire Mack Brown" " Fire Mack Brown"

Danny48 I would put Bell,Shaw, Morency up against your three running backs. Our fourth string rb Gold has shown more promise than ou rb. Face it ou sucess has come by spreading the feild and throwing the ball, We shut that down last year with a underrated pass rush. I' m not saying the Cowboys will win again this year I' m just pointing out that bold predictions can be blown out of the water by a lower ranked team such as the Cowboys.

Well, anything is possible. Just look at all the upsets already this year.
But I think this may be the year that OU get' s it' s 8th title. Stoops (and he never brags about anything) even says this is the best team he' s had yet.

Sooner_Hunter,
You have to keep rooting no matter who you play. You guys should know that, with your tough schedule that you guys throw out there. Mack is probably going to be on the hot seat if they don' t get it done this year. I think the horns definately have the talent to beat them, I am sure nobody will argue with that, but putting it together will be the ultimate key. Can they bring the talent around them for that game. Over the last few years Texas has gone into the game without having been tested at all and all the hype pumping them up. This year isn' t the case. Ark rolled us and then we came back against a game KSU squad and played a good game. I think mentally the Horns are prepared for this one. On the other hand we could get rolled.
Wish me luck on my elk hunt and I will have to continue this discussion in about a week when I get back.
