If there is one thing I have learned over the years is Don' t bet on the Cowboys. Don' t bet against them either.

I think there is one key factor to winning this game, and which ever team does it best, wins.

Whoever controls the other' s quarterback the most, will win.

OSU is gonna have to pressure Young all day long, contain him, and force him to make mistakes.

Texas is gonna have to pressure Fields and prevent him from throwing the ball to Woods.

The running backs are both top notch, and about equal in my opinion. They may be the difference in the game if the quarterbacks are taken out of their game.

How do you guys see it?

All I know is........................... there' ll be too damn much orange in Oklahoma this weekend!! LOL ;) Maybe they plan on going hunting afterwards?

Wow, 49-0 at half time, and we hung 77 on A&M by the end of the 3rd quarter. And could have scored alot more but backed off in the 4th quarter. Final 77-0.

Good luck OSU tonight.

Mod 70,

Yee Ha, my horns stuck it to the Cowboys.

I think it would have been closer had Bell not gotten hurt. You guys would have been able to control the ball better and not had to throw as much. Texas' D has come to play the last couple of weeks. You would be hard pressed to find a better D in the country (outside of Norman, there you go Danny just so you jump all over me for that.)

I think the Cowboys still had some hang over from the OU game, and Texas was coming into the game with a high after dismantling NU. Well Mod I am going to root for OSU the rest of the way out. I think it is a quality program that is on the brink of really breaking out.

In other news, I had a bad bit of luck yesterday. I stuck a buck at about 6:30. I finally lost the blood trail around 4. I had followed it for over a mile. I didn' t get a very good hit. I hit him high. Would have been my first deer. I was pretty disappointed. I should have taken more time on my shot. I just misjudged it and paid the price. Well you live and learn. I know none of the pheasants I am going to shoot this weekend will be able to get away.

Who me???? LOL :D I' d never jump on ya for that. But remember, they were the #1 passing defense in the country when we came to town. Okay, enough rubbing it in.

Sorry to hear about your deer, but it does happen. Sounds like you did everything you could to find it, so I wouldn' t dwell on it. That spot above the lungs and below the spine has ruined more hunts than anything I know. Too bad God didn' t put something important in that spot.

Good luck on the pheasant hunt!!! Where do you go in Texas??? My fiance has relatives in South Dakota and I' m going to plan on going up there next year for sure.

Take care and good hunting the rest of the season.

Danny,

thanks for the support on the deer. I just should have made a better shot. Oh well you live and learn. Actually I don' t live in Texas, I live in SE CO. About 30 miles from the Kansas border, so I hunt pheasants around here. Should be a good year.

As for football. At this point does OU even need to play their starters for the rest of the season. I guess the D will have to play against Texas Tech, but an 8 man squad could score on that defense.

Well, Stoops is at the point where now he has to consider the awards that everyone is up for. So yeah, I' d say he' ll be using the starters. I was worried when he pulled Jason White out Saturday at the half. I was afraid it would hurt his Heisman chances. I don' t think they' ll play all game, but they' ll definately start. Besides, Baylor isn' t a " gimme" game. They beat Colorado. Once we score 30 on them, look for the second stringers.
